Abstract :

Water pollution by various toxic contaminants has become one of the most serious problems worldwide. Water and waste water have been treated using a variety of technologies, such as flotation, ion-exchange, chemical precipitation, membrane filtration, coagulation-flocculation, adsorption, and electrochemical techniques. The last few decades have seen a significant increase in interest in nanotechnology, and numerous nanomaterials have been created for water clean-up. Several nanomaterials that have been utilized to decontaminate water have been evaluated in this review article. The present review has placed particular emphasis on the adsorption of dye from the different nanomaterials.
